BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGGGGG

Honestly Dr. Lubach’s presentation was the most interactive and entertaining out of all the presentations so far. Not that I have anything against the speakers but they weren’t as fun as Dr. Lubach. The first topic he talked about just caught my attention. When he started talking about Reddit, I was pleased and surprised that he was promoting Reddit. I am a frequent user and would like more people to know about the most amazing site ever made. Also the fact that he related to us quite often about living in UCSB made me feel a lot closer to him.  He wanted us to try new things and utilize all the research opportunities.
The visit to the library was not boring and repetitive, but quite interesting. I learned different sections of the library and how to utilize them. From now on, I will not be lost trying to find a book. Well maybe I will get lost since the library is huge. Its amazing how our class will be able to use the new part of the renovating library soon. The library has so many resources that I probably will not be able to use them all.
I finally met my parents during this Labor Day weekend. After a month of no visiting, I felt that I missed them. It was a great experience. We went out to eat lots of Korean food, to shop, and to enjoy some time together. I hope that the rest of the next two weeks are amazing as right now.

  1. That sounds so sweet that you finally got to see your parents. Trust me, they miss you a lot, and will continue to miss you while you are away. I agree with you 100% about Dr. Lubach's presentation. He was really interesting, first and foremost, because of reddit. Reddit is where I spend most of my time if it's not working, eating or sleeping. Also, when he talked about critical thinking, it made me contemplate a lot about whether I am a critical thinker. Also, nice library picture btw.
